St. John’s began the 175th birthday celebration of its building with a “Building Birthday Bash” silent auction and reception on Friday May 13. The Parish Hall was transformed into an elegant setting for convivial conversation, and our young servers ensured that delicious appetizers were shared by all. Successful bidders went home with an array of auction items, and in addition to raising funds for our church, we continued our commitment to support the work of local Charlestown organizations.
