The Harvard-Kent Leadership Scholarship Project presents college scholarships each year to six students at the school who have demonstrated academic excellence and leadership skills in their classroom. Two students each from the third, fourth, and fifth grades are granted awards of $1000, which are held in trust for them until they attend college. Petie Hilsinger founded the program, and current Board members include Rosermary Kverek, Luette Bourne, and Tom Mousin. This year’s scholars were recognized at an awards ceremony on Friday May 10th.

Thank You!!!!

Our Vestry sponsored spring cleaning event last Saturday was a great success. Thanks to everyone who helped empty the storage spaces, closets, and rooms of the Parish House. And thank you, Joey Lacey, of Jenny’s Pizza for lunch!

We found a number of treasures — some of which are headed for the April 27 Sidewalk Sale sponsored by ECW and the Garden Group. Please set your unwanted treasures aside and bring them Friday, April 26 to add to the bounty of things for sale.
